  • Incorporates unique LED driving technique to get as long communication range from the lazy IR diode as possible
  • 1.25 km range with commonly available loupe lenses and single transmitter head and 4km visibility (Metropolis/Tetrapolis have 1.4 km).

  • Ronja Hertz signal generator. A module of Ronja, suitable for benchmarking dynamic performance of transmitter or transmitter+receiver pair. Complete building guide included.
  • Ronja Benchpress: a model of Ronja that is not a communication device, but a bench for measurement of lens+diode combinations. Using Benchpress, lens+diode combinations' gain can be precisely measured and communication range exactly predicted.

    Benchpress consists of Starquake - a measurement signal transmitter - and Audiofire - a measurement signal receiver. Complete guide included.
