Repairing Ronja Twister2

Rosin flux in contacts

If Twister is myseriously failing, it can be caused by rosin flux that got into the contacts. Gold to gold doesn't help when there is a layer of insulator in between. In such case try to wash it out with fresh isopropyl alcohol and blow out with compressed air. If it doesn't help, try moving the switch without actually flipping it to the other side.

Opening a lid

Stick a small screwdriver into the hole in a corner of the lid and melt the solder around, while lifting. Then continue along the edges the same way until the whole lid comes off. Possibly use a bit of colophonium to prevent the solder from becoming a slack.

Closing a lid

Put the lid in place. Press it down and fix in couple of spots with solder. Then solder it continuously around all sides.
