Half duplex reduction

If all your AUI network cards are full duplex, skip this box.

To test with AUI cards that are not full duplex, you need Half Duplex Reduction. Connect the reduction between the 2 cards and AUI Forte and remember which network card is Transmit (T mark on reduction) and which Receive (R mark).

If you have POSIX OS where C programs can be compiled, then perform the ronjaping variant.

ping

Otherwise perform the ping variant.

Evaluation of packetloss

There should be practically no packetloss. Any packetloss indicates that something is wrong with the electronics.
