1 PC with full duplex TP network card
If you are testing a Twister2, then a Twister2 loopback plug and Tetrapolis Power Source or Inferno Power Source.
Networking operating system
A short piece of thick wire

Decision

If you have Linux where C programs can be installed, then perform the Bertest variant.

Otherwise, perform the ping variant, which is much slower for given precision.

Evaluation of packetloss

There should be practically no packetloss. Any packetloss indicates that something is wrong with the electronics.
