We are going to drill 4 metal strips. These strips will be assembled
together using 2 M3 bolts, 10 M3 nuts, 1 M6 bolt and 1 M6 nut. |
There are two possibilities how to drill out the box. First one is using
a calibrated printer,
printing out a template and gluing the template on a tin.
The second one is measuring everything by hand. |
Option 1: Drilling
templatePrint out this template and glue on piece of tin
of thickness specified in drawing. Then cut out and drill out. |
Option 2: Manual measurement
Make 4 pieces from aluminium or steel according to this drawing. |

Assembling
- Assemble the pieces together using nuts and bolts.
- Insert 3 different LEDs (HPWT-B?-????, HSDL4230 and HSDL4220
into (B), their leads towards (A) and their
round plastic ends toward (C).
- Fix the LEDs down using glue pistol
- Connect (solder) all cathodes together using piece of wire

Wire stubs
- Cut 4 wire stubs
- Cut 4 1m long pieces of insulated stranded flexible wire
- Solder one wire on connected cathodes
- Solder 3 wires on the anodes
