- Ruler
- Hard-metal tip stylus or awl
- Slide gauge (recommended)
- Square (recommended)
- Centre punch or thin marker for drawing precision lines on tin
Working tools
- Electric drill up to 8.0mm drill bit diameter.
- HSS drill bits: 3.3mm, 4.3mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm
- Soldering iron
- Thermal glue gun (can be replaced by silicone sealant for expense
of much longer curing)
- RJ-45 connector crimp tool
- Vice
- Tin shears
Wrenches & screwdrivers
- 5.5mm (for M3)
- 7mm (for M4)
- Plain screwdriver for the wire nuts
- Philips screwdriver if some of the bolts are Philips head
