Place selection

Choose a places as close to the heel of the mast as possible so that:

• There is enoughs space on the mast to mount either the console and the remainder of the system.
• The mast is stable

Mounting

Put on, insert M10 thread bars, toothed spring washers, put on M10 nuts and tighten firmly. Shall the mast cave in, get some suitable round steel bar and insert it into the mast. After tightening, grip it firmly and jerk with it in various direction to forcefully settle the joint down.

Retighten after some time.

Grounding

Ground the console using the lightning rod clamps and lightning rod conductor to a suitable lightning conductor or grounded roof tin nearby. Check with a multimeter that the connection has less than 0.2 Ohm resistance.
